Common Name:   Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Red Phase
Scientific Name:   Epicrates cenchria cenchria
Morph:   Red phase
Genetics:

DESCRIPTION
Brazilian Rainbow boas come in a wide range of colors and patterns. There are Striped, Hypo, Anerythristic, Albino and Red and Orange phase.
Brazilians are fairly easy to take care of in captivity, as long as their high humidity requirments are met. Adult Brazilians attain an average length of 5- 6 feet.
I am only producing a small number of Red Brazilians every year. The Orange gene is more dominant, breeding Orange phase to Red phase produces almost all Orange babys. In 2007 I will be breeding Red to Red, and should produce all Red offspring.
