DESCRIPTION Striped Brazilians were first produced by a breeder in the mid 1990's. I acquired a pair of heterozygous snakes in 1997, lost the female, and bred the het. male to a normal female in 2000. I kept 8 females and bred them back to their sire in 2004 and 2006. So far only one of the females seem to be carrying the gene, and I have only produced a small amount of striped offspring. The trait is similar to the striping seen in striped colombian boas. The amount of striping is random, and some exhibit aberrant patterns. I will be breeding Stripe to Stripe in 2008.
